I just got home from Oneida Casino watching Wayne “the Train” Hancock play a free show in the casino bar. It was a great set of western swing and it was a treat to see Mr. Eddie Biebel standing in on electric guitar. There are a couple songs on the videos page from Eddie’s days with Wayne that will give you a little taste of the honky-tonk sound the band is known for. Everyone should make it out Monday night for the second set from the “Viper of Melody”, Eddie told me he’d be there with bells on.

Well the small theater was a blast!! Sorry to those who could not make it. We had quite the night of fun and even left with some fresh eggs.

Hey everybody,

Been a long time since my last post, shame on me. I am terrible at keeping up with that sort of thing. Well the Sczrombacque String Band will be playing at Nick Utrie’s Small Theater on May 20th. Ed and I have played this venue before and it is a blast. Show starts at 7.00p and we are going to play till we run out of songs. The big day has finally arrived!!! We hope to see all y’all at at least one of the show today. Wish us luck we have 3 show!

Starting out at St Brendan’s in Green Bay, then heading out to Kewaunee to the Cork, and finishing up with The Ten O One Club on Main in GB. Should be a great time…
